Before you Vote on Tuesday...School Bond Referendum Information

When you go out to vote on Tuesday, November 5th, please remember that a school bond referendum will be on the general election ballot. The building and renovation of schools are not financed through the school system's operating funds, but through bonds. Similar to an individual or a family obtaining a mortgage on a residence, bonds spread the cost of major capital improvements over a number of years. The 2019 school bond referendum will include construction funds for the renovation of Fox Mill Elementary. The Do Good a-thon is almost here and we need a few volunteers!

Last year the Do Good a-thon raised over $23,000 for our school, this year it’s back and better than ever. This fundraiser is based on community service and acts of kindness and runs from October 4–18th. It helps to build character among our students, and encourages them to serve others and the surrounding community, while also raising funds for our school.
