Our Thanksgiving effort to support a local family was a tremendous success! With the community's help, we were able to give them a wonderful dinner and support for their new baby!
It is wonderful to see our community work together for a good cause, thanks to everyone who donated their artwork and goods for the family!

Have any meal at the ready this holiday season! With Little Caesar's Kits, you can have a freezer stash of cheese or pepperoni pizzas, crazy bread, cookie dough, and even personal pan pizza kits! Unlike many shipped goods this season, Little Caesars kits are not being impacted by supply chain kerfuffle’s--your order will be at your specified address within approximately 7-14 days of your order. Kits are $18.99-$20.99, and shipping is $7.99 per two kits; our PTA earns $6 per kit sold. Dinner done, and fundraising accomplished! Pizza for your table, and more fun activities and enhancing equipment for our kids and school. October is Bullying Prevention Month and ends with Red Ribbon Week.
This month our school counselors, Ms. Keating and Ms. Barry, will be teaching bully prevention lessons. We will end October and the first quarter with Red Ribbon Week Spirit Week (October 25-29th). The dress up days are as follows:
Monday- RED Day = We’re ‘RED’y to say no to drugs!
Tuesday- SUNGLASSES/Neon Day = Too BRIGHT to use drugs!
Wednesday- PAJAMA Day= DREAMING of a world without Drugs!
Thursday- SPORT JERSEY Day = My TEAM is Drug Free!
Friday- BOOK CHARACTER Day = Show good CHARACTER…and say NO to Drugs!

Photographers from Strawbridge Studios will be at Fox Mill on the morning of Thursday, October 28th. They will take pictures of all students who were absent on Picture Day or who enrolled at Fox Mill after September 15th. You may use your original picture order form or order online at Strawbridge.net using Order Code FM370411.
If your student had their picture taken on Picture Day and you would like to have the picture retaken, please let your student’s teacher know and return the original picture envelope to the teacher. You may send the original pictures to school with your student on October 28th or any time before then.
If you would like a new order form or have any questions, please contact Ms. Sterner in the Fox Mill Office at ststerner@fcps.edu or 703-262-2700.
