When is The 3-6 Challenge?
April 17, 2026. Doors open and check-in starts at 6:00pm. The event will start promptly at 6:30.
Where is The 3-6 Challenge?
Fox Mill Elementary School.
How much is The 3-6 Challenge?
The cost is $15 per student. The adult guest is free. Ticket sales close on April 13th.
Do I need to be athletic to participate?
Absolutely not! Activities involve all kinds of different skill sets and abilities. They are designed with 8-12 year olds in mind. Everyone will be able to have fun during these challenges! In addition to the stations with challenges, we will also have a performance by Louis the Magician and a free Photobooth.
Are prizes awarded to the winners?
The purpose of this event is to have fun while team building. Because of that we will not be offering any prizes to any of the winners.
Do you only have competitive games at The 3-6 Challenge?
No. While some activities may have a race-style format, they are designed to be friendly and low-pressure.
Is there a schedule that we will be following?
Yes. At check-in you will receive a lanyard with your schedule for the night. The color of the schedule indicates what group you will be moving through the stations with. It is very important that you stay with your designated groups because of group sizes. Each station is 10 minutes long with two minutes in between to travel to the next station.
How do you divide up the groups?
We try our very best to place each student/adult pair within a group of known peers and to keep siblings in the same group. When you purchase your ticket, you will be able to request another student you would like to have in your group. We will try our very best to accommodate those requests, but we cannot guarantee it.
Can I bring my other kids who are not in 3rd – 6th grade?
No. Due to space limitations, this event is only for Fox Mill students in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.
Can multiple adults accompany one child?
Unfortunately, no. Because of space limitations we need to keep the pairings to one student and one adult. We will make exceptions for siblings who only have one adult available to accompany them.
Volunteering at the event is a great way to be a part of it if you are unable to attend as a guest.
Will dinner be available for purchase?
No. We will be serving popcorn as a snack during one of the stations. We encourage you to bring snacks and water bottles.
What should I bring/wear?
We encourage you to wear sneakers and bring water bottles. You are welcome to bring your own snacks as well.
Why do you divide the two Challenge nights up by grade levels?
Years ago this event was originally created as the Mother/Son Challenge. However, in an effort to be more inclusive we wanted to offer it to the whole school, but we had to turn away a large amount of students due to space limitations. Dividing the night into two events allows us to offer it to more students and for us to create activities and challenges that are age appropriate for all the attendees.
