South Lakes High School’s International Night is on Thursday, February 29th from 6:00-8:30pm! International Night is held at South Lakes High School and is free! There will be international food, interactive booths, performances, a fashion show, and more! Thank you to the generous donations that were received! Ms. Denton and Ms. Keating reached their goal to create a SEL(Social Emotional Learning) Strategies Lab. This room has already started to take shape and a benefit to our students! This is a place where students are practicing coping strategies when they are having “Big” feelings.

Ms. Denton and Ms. Keating have more hopes and dreams to make the SEL Strategies Lab even more successful and are looking for the possible assistance of an Eagle Scout, a Girl Scout troop who needs a service project, or even a handy FMES parent/guardian. Join the "Do It Your Way 0.5K" to raise money for the SLHS PTSA Pantry @ Lake Anne in Reston on Oct 15th!

Would you and your family like to make a difference in the community? The PTSA at South Lakes High School has been addressing food insecurity in our community since 2017 through the PTSA Pantry. It not only supports South Lakes students and families but more than 120 students and 170 families from all over our pyramid come to the Pantry every Thursday to receive food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Please read on for more information to find out how you can make a difference!
