Read MoreWhen you go out to vote on Tuesday, November 5th, please remember that a school bond referendum will be on the general election ballot. The building and renovation of schools are not financed through the school system's operating funds, but through bonds. Similar to an individual or a family obtaining a mortgage on a residence, bonds spread the cost of major capital improvements over a number of years. The 2019 school bond referendum will include construction funds for the renovation of Fox Mill Elementary. We are in need of volunteers to cook rice at home that morning and bring into the school for your child’s class, donating supplies, and volunteers are needed to participate during the activity by giving the food to each child, help them make a poster, or take lots of pictures and post them to the website https://usa.tablefor2.org/onigiri-action and possibly your own personal social media page adding #onigiriactionfoxmill. Rice will be given to you ahead of time from your teacher, and then if you could send it in the morning of the activity.
