Our online Bookworm book fair will be from November 14th-28th. Bookworm has only the best books and educational games specially curated for our school. All Proceeds will go to Fox Mill ES. There will be customized book recommendations, provided teacher wish lists, games and more! Enjoy great additions to your home library or purchase gifts for others while helping to raise money for literacy programs.

Feel free to forward our bookstore link to friends and family. Books will still ship to the school for free and the money spent will support Fox Mill ES.

The South Lakes HS Band is asking for support from our surrounding neighborhoods to help maintain the award-winning musical talent in our pyramid. This year, we are taking our primary fundraiser virtual as we run an online Tag Day campaign from October 23 to November 3. This fundraiser will help us meet key needs such as:
* Hire clinicians for small group instruction
* Purchase and repair instruments
* Acquire sheet music for small groups
* Buy equipment including specialized PPE

Please join us on Tuesday, October 6th, from 5pm-9pm at the Ben & Jerry’s in Reston Town Center and 20% of ALL proceeds will go to the Fox Mill PTA.

Mr. Moose and Ms. Greene will be there from 5-5:30pm so come say “Hi” from a safe distance!

Ben & Jerry’s has adjusted their set up so all orders and money exchanges take place outside of the shop. Hope to see you there!

Interested in Scouting with the BSA? Come check out Pack 159 on September 17th from 6:30-8:00 PM! We will be hosting a Virtual Join Scouting Night to introduce boys and girls from grades K-5 to our Pack. The kids will have a chance to build a rocket for this year's rocket launch! Parents will have a chance to learn about how the Pack will combine socially distanced events and virtual meetings to make for a memorable year.

There are two lists included. The first is a list of the eleven MH&W Conference/ACT Summit presentations and workshops in case you want to publicize that information separately.
