South Lakes High School Theater presents Peter and the Starcatcher, directed by Mr. Michael Viola.

This family-friendly comedic play is set on the high seas in a faraway land. You’ll enjoy the fast-paced adventure of Peter and his friend Molly, as they overcome bands of pirates and thieves in their quest to keep a fantastical secret safe. Just a reminder that our after school activities start tomorrow, the 13th, with basketball in the gym and cheer in the cafeteria. Thursday, the 15th, will be sprint/agility in the gym and hip hop in the cafeteria. Pick up for these activities will be at the kiss ‘n ride doors. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remind your children that they are signed up for these activities and please email their teachers and let them know as well so they can dismiss them to the proper place on the appropriate day. Thank you!

Please join Pack 159 for a kickoff event at Dogwood Elementary School on Thursday, September 8th, at 6:00 pm. Cub Scouts includes boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade. The Fox Mill-based Pack meets at nearby schools during Fox Mill's renovation. Our kickoff will have fun activities for kids and information about our 2022-23 program for parents. Even if students aren't looking to try out for the team, public speaking is always a good skill to have and this camp is a great way to gain both skill and confidence. Cub Scout Pack 159 is excited to kick off another year of hiking, camping, canoeing, racing cars, and having fun with friends this year. Join us on Thursday, September 9th from 5:30-7:00 PM at the Fox Mill Shopping Center to meet some current Scouts and learn about the Pack.

We have a Fox Mill Girl Scout troop getting started for rising Kindergarteners! We already have a leader who is eager to get started and start recruiting girls and volunteers for the troop.
