Read MoreThe JCC is gearing up to prepare for our biggest event of the year: a Japanese Children’s Day Festival called “Matsuri”. We are coordinating with the PTA, School admins and JI teachers for the event, however, Matsuri will not be a success without support from parent and student volunteers! We have various activities to cover! Please consider volunteering for a time-slot so that everybody will have a great time. The event is on Friday, May 10th from 6:00 pm to 8:30pm at Fox Mill Elementary School. Please read on for the sign-up genius links!

Wristbands for children are required for admission ($5 pre-order, $10 at the door) The quantity of wristbands is limited; please order one before it sells out! Adult supervision is required, but there is no cost for adults to enter the event. Meals from Mari Sushi is available via pre-order only. Please read on to view the flyers for more details and to place your orders. The deadline to order food and wristbands is this Thursday, May 2nd.

This program is open to rising 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and is an excellent opportunity for students looking to try out for the RCMS debate team or to gain confidence and skills with speech and debate. This event will take place on THIS FRIDAY, April 12th at South Lakes High School and many volunteers are needed to help make this event a success.
