Month of the Military Child: Spirit Wear Week (April 7th - 11th)

FCPS will celebrate Month of the Military Child in April. We will honor our military families with a week of spirit wear from April 7th-11th. Wednesday the 9th will be “Purple Up” Day. Purple represents all the colors of the military branches mixed together. More detailed information went home in the Thursday folders.

We would also like to invite all Fox Mill families with a military connection to “Craft and Cookies” on Tuesday, April 8th  from 2:00-3:00pm. Join us in our new garden by the playground for some yummy cookies and a dandelion craft.  The dandelion represents military children because they will bloom where they are planted. We will use fingerprints to decorate a dandelion print. A print invitation will be going home next week.

Volunteers STILL Needed for the 6th Grade Basketball Game on March 14th! Please Help!

If you've ever been to the 6th grade basketball game before then you understand what a big undertaking this event is and many hands are needed to pull this event off. Please consider signing up to help make this event a success. This event is a great opportunity for your middle or high schooler to get some of those service hours they need! Shifts are short, some won’t take long at all (like the raffle contest coordinator/judge or the high-five tunnel helper) and will still allow you to be in the gym!
