Former Floris Elementary student and former RCMS debater, Evan Meade, who is currently the "best-delegation" winner of the South Lakes Model United Nations team is offering his summer speech and debate program for the 3rd year in a row. This program is open to rising 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and is an excellent opportunity for students looking to try out for the RCMS debate team or to gain confidence and skills with speech and debate. STEM Scouts is a Co-ED Scouts BSA National Capital Area program that focuses on teaching and reinforcing STEM concepts in a fun way. We are starting the year learning about coding (grades 3-5) and structural engineering (grades 6-8). In the last few years we explored aerodynamics, forensics, archeology, circuits, and a lot more. Please read on for more information!
