We are just a few days a way from our October 4th kick-off!
Last year the Do Good a-thon raised over $23,000 for our school, this year it’s back and better than ever. This fundraiser is based on community service and acts of kindness and runs from October 4–18th. It helps to build character among our students, and encourages them to serve others and the surrounding community, while also raising funds for our school.

Diversity and Inclusivity Committee meeting on 9/26 at 7:00 PM to begin planning the International Jubilee - ALL WELCOME
The Diversity and Inclusivity Committee is having it's International Jubilee kickoff meeting on Wednesday 9/26 at 7:00 PM at FMES (room TBD). We will be discussing the feedback from last year's event, exciting developments for this year's November 9th Jubilee event, and beginning the ramp up plan for the event itself. If you can't make the Wednesday evening event, we will be discussing the same topics on Friday, 9/28 at 9:00 AM in the FMES cafeteria. Can't make either event? The FMES basketball program is in need of adults willing to help for an hour each Thursday evening. If you've coached any sport, have "herding cattle" on your resume, or are willing to pretend you know what you're doing - you're qualified! Each year we only serve about half as many kids as who want to participate due to limited coaches. Help get kids off screens and into the gym!
